This is number 2 in a series of tapes (SR99-29 to SR99-43) made at the Harry S. Truman Library in preparation for the book "Mr. Citizen." William Hillman and David Noyes interviewed former President Harry S. Truman on various topics. Mr. Truman talks about daily life at the Truman Library and answers questions about people who contact him and what they ask about. He also speaks of his 1956 trip to Europe, General Dwight D. Eisenhower, and what he thinks of Adlai Stevenson and the elections of 1952 and 1956. Transcript available in Research Room.
